BIG RIG SERIES SHOWCASES TOP SEMI TRUCKS

THURSDAY
AUGUST 17, 2006 @ 7:00 P.M.

The Big Rigs Pulling Series will return to the Lawrence County Fair in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Six members of the awesome Big Rig Series will perform as a part of the USA-EAST sanctioned tractor and truck pull on that evening in front of the grandstand. The pulling events will be produced once again by Full Pull Productions of Jamestown, PA.

The nationally recognized Big Rigs Pulling Series returns in 2006 with a solid array of top-running super modified semi trucks. Many new names and new faces will perform in a completely revamped program this season. The Big Rigs Series will be seen at twenty different fair and speedway venues this summer. New for 2006 is the fact that the Big Rigs will compete under the sanctioning blanket of USA-EAST Sled Pulling of PA.

One of the top trucs will be a cab-over Mack operated by David Frantz from Marion, PA. This Big Rig, name "Thunder Dog", is powered by a multi turbo-charged 998 cubic inch Mack V-8. "Thunder Dog" was the winner in 2005 at the Indiana County Fair and is a former national champion with the Super Stock Semis. The truck was built by Antrim Diesel of Chambersburg. The Mack, sponsored by Re-Mack of Harrisburg, finished third in the Big Rigs FINALS last year at Bloomsburg, the first event with the new twin charger set-up on board.

Don Snyder's "Mr. Nasty" comes back after semi-retirement. "Mr. Nasty" is an incredible Peterbilt with a KT-600 Cummins under the hood. Don's son, Bryan, will also compete in the "Smoker Series" with his all-new component Pro Stock Tractor that is named "Hot Rod Deere".

The ultra-powerful Sanders' Pulling Team of Ravenna, Ohio, will showcase a pair of brand new trucks for 2006. Fred Sanders will drive a Mack Superliner with a huge Cummins QSK engine under the hood. This truck has been dubbed, "Silver Bullet I". And teammate, Joe Giulitto, will bring the other new Mack machine to the track for the first time this season. Named "Silver Bullet II", this truck will be powered by a 998 cubic inch Mack. Of course the team can also rely on Ian Shaw with the "Smokin' Gun" Mack - one of the most powerful single charger semis on the circuit.
